                   A RESOLUTION RATIFYING, CONFIRMING AND 
                   APPROVING THE EXECUTION OF CHANGE ORDER NO. 
                   1, CONTRACT NO. 103, TYNER-TIFTONIA AREA, 
                   WITH MAYSE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, WHICH WILL 
                   INCREASE THE TOTAL CONTRACT AMOUNT BY THE 
                   SUM OF ONE HUNDRED EIGHT THOUSAND FOUR 
                   HUNDRED FORTY NINE AND 25/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($108,449.25) FOR A TOTAL REVISED CONTRACT 
                   PRICE OF ONE MILLION NINETY-ONE THOUSAND 
                   FIVE HUNDRED TWELVE AND 25/100 DOLLARS 
                   ($1,091,512.25).
                   
                   
                                                     
                   
                   
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF 
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby ratified, 
       confirmed and approved the execution of Change Order No. 1, 
       Contract No. 103, Tyner-Tiftonia Area, with Mayse Construction 
       Company, which will increase the original contract amount of 
       $983,063.00 by the sum of $108,449.25 for an adjusted total 
       contract amount of $1,091,512.25.
